Recalls this week: Peanut butter, girls shoes

NEW YORK (AP) — If you stocked up on peanut butter at the grocery store recently, check this week's list of recalls before making yourself a sandwich.

The J.M. Smucker Co. says jars of its Natural Peanut Butter may be contaminated with salmonella, which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children or the elderly. The company says the jars in questions would have been purchased between starting Nov. 8. So far, no illnesses have been reported.
