Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home looks to make a move

If everything goes as planned Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home could have a home on either side of the Mississippi River.

Tim Taylor, Halvorson-Johnson owner, is looking at expanding into the former Photo Center building at the corner of Excelsior Road and Golf Course Drive in Baxter. The effort, Taylor said, is in the preliminary stages and the topic should be before Baxter’s planning and zoning commission Dec. 13.
