Outing Seniors Club to meet

OUTING—The Outing Seniors Club regular monthly meeting will be 1:30 p.m. Sept. 5 at the Crooked Lake Township Hall in Outing.

Following a routine business meeting, a presentation titled "Putting Your House in Order" will be given by Nick Zillmer of Koop Funeral Home.

A workbook on "pre-arrangement" planning will be given for listing of personal and financial document information important to be recorded before a time of passing. Refreshments will be served.

Membership in the Outing Seniors Club is open to all seniors 55 and older. For more information, contact Club President Grace Werner at 218-792-5500.

Tusenvann Lodge Sons of Norway meeting planned

ISLE—The next meeting of Tusenvann Lodge Sons of Norway will be 7 p.m. Sept. 8 at the IREC Building in Isle.

The program will be Gary and Becky Heimark discussing the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Wildlife Preserves in Tanzania. Coffee and goodies will be served.

Brainerd Legion upcoming events

A waffle breakfast with all the fixings will be served from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday, Aug. 27, at the Brainerd Legion. Cost is $9 for adults and $4 for kids.

The special dinner for Friday will be Bob Harting's BBQ rib dinner. Cost is $11. Walleye is also available for $11. Serving begins at 5 p.m.

Lois Club meeting set

AITKIN—The Lois Club will meet 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Black Rock in Aitkin.

WHS class of 1958 to meet for coffee

The Washington High School class of 1958 will meet for coffee 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Brickhouse Bread and Bagel.

Senior dance announced

A senior dance will be from 1-4 p.m. Wednesday at Waukenabo with music by Two For The Road.

Grief Support Group to meet Sept. 5

WADENA—Tri-County Health Care will host its monthly Grief Support Group from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Sept. 5 in the Wesley Conference Room at Tri-County Health Care in Wadena.

The group's purpose is to offer understanding, suggestions for coping, support, friendship and hope to bereaved adults. Anyone who has experienced a loss is invited to attend. The group meets the first Tuesday of each month.
