WHS class of 1952 to have 65th reunion
BAXTER—The Washington High School class of 1952 will have its 65th reunion 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, at Prairie Bay in Baxter.
GSS-Woodland Auxiliary to meet
The GSS-Woodland Auxiliary will meet 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the 200 Dining Room.
MRSEA to meet
BAXTER—The Minnesota Retired State Employees Association will meet Thursday at Pizza Ranch in Baxter.
Social hour and lunch will be at noon and the meeting will be 1 p.m. No RSVP necessary.
NARFE meeting set
The Tuesday meeting of the local chapter of NARFE National Association of Active and Retired Federal Employees, Chapter 0738, will be 11 a.m. at Camp Ripley in the TACC building headquarters.
This is earlier than the usual time. Park on the east side of the building.

The Center's Morning Club will meet 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at The Center.

Disabled American Veterans (DAV) meeting planned
The monthly meeting for the DAV, Crow Wing County Chapter No. 22 will be 7 p.m. Thursday at the Brainerd VFW Club.
Chapter 22 officers meeting will begin at 6 p.m.
Brainerd Legion upcoming events
The Post and Auxiliary membership meetings will be 7 p.m. Monday.
The class of 1959 will meet 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The 9th annual fall rendezvous will be Wednesday. Tickets for the prime rib and shrimp dinner are $35 and include a chance for a $300 cash prize. Social is at 5 p.m. and dinner is at 6 p.m. There will be prizes and raffles throughout the evening. Call 218-829-2249 for information.

Genealogy workshop planned
Captain Robert Orr, NSDAR (National Society Daughters of the American Revolution) Chapter is sponsoring a genealogy workshop during Constitution Week to help prospective members locate their Patriot ancestors from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 23 at the Brainerd Public Library, 416 S. Fifth St., Brainerd.
Backus American Legion worn flag retirement ceremony set
BACKUS—The Backus American Legion will have a worn flag retirement ceremony 4:30 p.m. Sept. 23.
Social time will follow with a potluck dinner at 6 p.m.
Individuals, businesses and organizations wanting proper disposal of worn flags may deposit them in the foyer of the Legion. New flags may be purchased from the post.

PEO Chapter CJ meeting announced
PEO Chapter CJ will meet Tuesday at Jean Halland's home with Kathy Edmunds as co-hostess.
All officers come at 11 a.m. meet with the state officer. Lunch will be provided.
Regular meeting will be 12:30 p.m. Each member is asked to bring a clothing button for our state visitor.
There will be a vote on a new member and going over the new program book.

Tri Aquatics Moms course planned
WADENA—Tri-County Health Care will host a free Tri Aquatics Moms Course from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Sept. 25 at the Maslowski Wellness and Research Center in Wadena.
This aquatic exercise class is offered to expectant mothers who are looking for a way to maintain good overall health during and following pregnancy. The session will address full-body fitness education including low-impact aerobic exercise with stretching, strengthening and range of motion activities for the entire body.
The goal of Moms Course is to reduce pain associated with later stages of pregnancy and improve on general stabilization as the mother's body prepares to give birth. Women in any stage of pregnancy are welcome.
Participants do not need to be a member of the wellness center or a Tri-County patient, and they are welcome to wear shorts and a T-shirt if not comfortable in a swimsuit. The instructors are Stacey Callahan, physical therapist, and Andrea Pettit, physical therapist assistant.
