Immaculate Heart CCW selected Lakes Area Interfaith Caregivers as proceeds recipient

Immaculate Heart CCW recently sponsored a style show and luncheon.

The style show committee selected Lakes Area Interfaith Caregivers to be the recipient of the proceeds from this event and a check for $435.95 was presented to Ann Silgen by chairperson Diane Tchida.

Lakes Area Interfaith Caregivers coordinates volunteers to provide services to citizens in need. Each year volunteers construct dozens of wheelchair ramps, drive tens-of-thousands of miles transporting seniors to medical appointments, shopping and errands and make numerous home visits. They are not a governmental agency and rely entirely on contributions and volunteers who do the work.

Other members of the style show committee were Sharon Rosburg, Pam Cunningham, Joan Erdman, Sheila Speeding and Mary Dischinger.

A Mediterranean-themed meal was served followed by a style show featuring fashions from Crosslake merchants modeled by church members.
