PEQUOT LAKES - Haley Wiebolt became the sixth girl in Pequot Lakes tennis history to record 100 wins and the Patriots finished 2-1 in the Pequot Lakes Quadrangular Saturday.

Wiebolt got her milestone win out of the way in the first match defeating Lakeview South's Katie Sourbeck 6-2, 6-4 at No. 1 singles.

"She got a little tight in the second set," said Patriots head coach Monica

Sergent. "She had a lot of friends there and was getting a little nervous. I went out at the 2-2 rotation and talked with her about playing one shot and one point at a time and she settled down a little.

"She got a pretty big smile on her face when the last point was finished."

Other 100 match winners in the Pequot Lakes program history are Valerie Meschke, Kayla Lenz, Megan Lenz, Ashley Meschke and Angela Villella.

Wiebolt won her second match against Osakis 6-2, 6-4 before losing to Hutchinson.

"Her serves were really good in the match with Osakis," said Sergent. "I

think she got a little tired in the Hutchinson match and her adrenaline

rush had worn off a little bit."

Also finishing 2-1 for the day were Pequot singles players No. 2 Sydney Holt, No. 3 Carly Fyle and No. 4 Madison Galligan.

Wiebolt, Holt and Galligan have all started the season 4-1.
