Jerry Zaleski passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at his second most favorite place, Madden's Golf course. Jerry retired after 37 years as a lineman for the city of Brainerd and had worked for Anderson Brothers. He was currently working for Madden's.

Jerry was a retired service man. He served in Vietnam from 1966-67, with B Battery, 29th Artillery.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Kathy and children, Alisa and Rod Barnum, Jeff and Ruth Zaleski, Greg and Laurie Zaleski, his brother, James Zaleski, brother-in-law, Keith and Miriam Storm and sister-in-law, Carol Storm. Jerry was extremely proud of all his grandchildren, Morgan, Mandi, Mitch, Tasha, E.J., Ashley, Derrick, Christina, Erica, Katie and Nick. He is also survived by 10- great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Regina Zaleski; in-laws, K.C. and Regina Storm; brother, Joe; sister, Mary Post; and brother-in-law, Kevin Storm.

A Celebration of Jerry's life will be held at Madden's Resort Town Hall Anderson Room on Sunday, July 20, 2014 from 2-4 p.m. Private burial will be on Monday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts will be donated to the Pillager High School Golf team in his honor.
