After 54 years in Iowa running a wholesale nursery in the good ol’ USA, I moved to Minnesota to be closer to my son and daughter in Malmo and Minnetonka.
After doing some house hunting with my son Tom I found a place north of Isle on Lake Mille Lacs. While missing many of my good friends in Iowa, I’m totally impressed with the quality of people and businesses I have met in Isle, Malmo, Glen, Baxter and Brainerd. All wonderful, friendly, down-to-earth people. On the back of my business card, I emphasize people. “An organization succeeds, not because it is big, or because it is long-established, but because there are people in it who live it, sleep it, dream it and build future plans for it.”
Thank you Minnesota people for making me feel “at home.” Hey, it’s great to be alive and it’s great to be in Minnesota.
