Joyce M. Burgstaler-Jerry age 78 of Aitkin died on July 4, 2014 at the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby. She was born on May 12, 1936 in Emily to Stacy and Irma (King) Huff. Joyce married Andrew Burgstaler on July 3, 1953 in Emily. Together they operated their family farm. She married Daniel Jerry on July 19, 2001 in Duluth. Joyce loved baking and feeding her family and friends. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and served on the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center's Board of Directors for ----years.

Survivors include her husband Daniel; a daughter, Arlene (Dale) Weistroffer of Palisade; 4 sons, Raymond Burgstaler of Crosby, James (Aurora) Burgstaler of Brainerd, Todd Burgstaler and Brent (Tena) Burgstaler all of Aitkin; 3 brothers, Wayne (Alice) Huff and David (Mary) Huff all of Duncanville, TX, and Gordon (Judy) Huff of Emily; 3 sisters, Sharon (Ron) Process of Sagola, MI, Beverly Huff of Crosby and Martie (Tom) Hansen of Emily; seventeen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death are her parents; her first husband, Andy; a brother, Larry; 2 grandchildren, Justin Fairchild and Jacob Pikus and a great grandson, Noah Gripentrog.

Funeral services will be 11 am on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Crosby. Her final resting place will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. Visitation will be held on Friday at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby from 5 to 8 pm with a rosary at 7 pm and also 1 hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday.
