Milling work slated to begin today on Highway 28
Crow Wing County Highway Department entered into a contract with Anderson Brothers Construction for the rehabilitation of County Highway 28.
This project involves milling and bituminous surfacing from state Highway 210 in the city of Crosby to County Highway 12 (the Deerwood Shortcut).
Additional improvements will include drainage storm sewer repairs, curb replacement in designated areas. Weather dependent, Anderson Brothers has scheduled milling operations today. Bituminous paving is scheduled for Monday and Tuesday.
During construction, Highway 28 will remain open to traffic at all times, but delays should be expected. The public's patience and understanding through this construction project is appreciated, the county reported. Also, please remember to drive safely though the construction zone.
