■ Buddy Poppies

The VFW Post and Auxiliary No. 1647 wish to thank the businesses of Brainerd/Baxter area for allowing our members to promote our Buddy Poppies near their entrances. Also, thank you to the businesses for their donations for the poppy cards. We appreciate seeing the cards in your place of business. All veterans say thank you. We also thank every individual who stopped to make a donation for a poppy. The monies derived from this promotion go into our relief fund to help local veterans in this area.

The promotion was successful because of the cooperation of everyone who participated. Thanks to all the VFW members and Cub Scouts who helped with our promotion.

Because of your generosity and time we can continue to help our veterans and their families.
