No injuries, dog escapes house fire
No one was injured and a dog escaped after a house fire on Norwood Street Sunday.
The Brainerd Fire Department was called to the house on the 1100 block of Norwood Street at 12:08 p.m. on report of a fire.
The house was unoccupied at the time. A neighbor kicked in the door to let out a dog.
Crews were on scene for four hours. The house is a complete loss, the fire department reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
The Brainerd Fire Department was assisted by the Brainerd Police Department, Crow Wing County Sheriff's Department, Nisswa Fire Department and the Crosby Fire Department.
