Obama is a danger

Email

Just recently, the president accurately stated that his quantity of executive orders has been less than previous Democratic or Republican presidents. What wasn't stated was that the quality of some of the executive orders that President Obama has done were at issue. One of President Obama's strongest supporters testified before Congress in July about the executive actions of President Obama. Constitutional Georgetown University law professor Jonathan Turley and regular contributor to MSNBC is an admitted supporter of the liberal policies of President Obama on things like the strict new EPA regulations and the relaxed illegal immigration laws imposed by the president. Mr. Turley though is opposed to the way that these executive "laws" have been imposed. Here is part of Mr. Turley's testimony:

"The problem with what the president is doing is that he’s not simply posing a danger to the constitutional system. He’s becoming the very danger the Constitution was designed to avoid."

He added: "The great concern I have for this body [Congress] is that it is not only being circumvented, but it is also being denied the ability to enforce its inherent powers. …The president is outside the line, but it has to go before a court, and a court has to grant review, and that’s where we have the most serious constitutional crisis I have viewed in my lifetime."

You can see the rest of Mr. Turley's tesitmony that is quite importanf for all Americans regardless of ideology at:  http://jonathanturley.org/2014/07/16/turley-to-testify-in-house-hearing-on-authorization-of-congressional-lawsuit. Unfortunately, his testimony has widely been unreported by the news media.  I consider Mr. Turley a hero for putting our country ahead of his politics.  Will you do the same?
