Police Blotter - Aug. 21
AWARD - A report Aug. 13 of a wallet containing a substantial amount of cash was found by a juvenile male on the sidewalk outside a business on Third Avenue Southwest. The wallet was turned into an employee who turned it over to police. Owner was contacted and recovered the wallet at the police department and gave the juvenile male a reward for his honesty and integrity.
JUVENILES - A report late Friday that a group of kids, with about 20-plus vehicles were at the Portsmouth Mine Pit boat landing parking lot. Kids were advised to clear out for the night.
SIGNS - A report Saturday of all the eastbound stop signs on Hematite Street were stolen. Officer advised dispatch that Irondale Township had voted to remove these signs.
OTHER - A report Saturday of two lost parents in Crosby City Park, who were separated from their children. A short time later, all were located and reunited.
ARRESTS - A 45-year-old man was arrested Sunday for third-degree DWI, driving after revocation and no proof of insurance.
A 25-year-old woman and a 22-year-old woman were arrested Aug. 14 on West Main Street for theft.
DISTURBANCE - A report at 1 a.m. Sunday of a disturbance at a business on Third Avenue Southwest, where a male was yelling at a group of people for no reason. The male was advised to leave the area.
THEFT - A report Aug. 14 of a theft of personal items taken from a residence on the 400 block of West Main Street.
A report Aug. 12 of a possible theft of bicycle parts from a juvenile male on First Street Southeast. After obtaining information, officers determined it was not a criminal matter, but more of an inappropriate borrowing situation. Parents of the juveniles stated they would mediate the matter.
ASSAULT - A report Aug. 13 of an an assault on Second Street Southwest involving a juvenile male. Minor injuries incurred.
PORT - A report at 1:49 a.m. Wednesday of a female taking staff's keys and damaging property at Port Group Home for Girls, 115 N. First St.
THEFT - A report Wednesday of a theft of services on the 500 block of Southeast 13th St.
BURGLARY - A report at 1:13 a.m. Wednesday of a burglary in progress on the 800 block of Rosewood Street. Officer found no one inside and no signs of forced entry.
A report Wednesday of an individual attempting to pay for a taxi ride with a credit card, but it was declined.
CITATIONS - Two 17-year-old males were cited at 12:20 a.m. during a traffic stop on Oak Street and 13th Street Southeast for possession of tobacco, being out past curfew. One of the males also was cited for possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
DOMESTIC - A report at 6:57 p.m. Tuesday of a verbal domestic between a male and female. They separated for the night.
SUSPICIOUS - A report at 6:39 p.m. Tuesday of a male with dreadlocks carrying a rifle in front of the 200 block of Fourth Avenue Northeast. Officer located subject, who had a BB gun with no pellets. He was advised.
BULLYING - A report at 5:01 p.m. Tuesday of two males antagonizing and intimidating the complainant as she returned to her residence on the 700 block of Southwest Sixth Street.
ARREST - A 13-year-old male was arrested at 12:21 p.m. Tuesday on a probation violation on Kingwood Street after a report that a male on house arrest took off.
DOMESTIC - A report at 7:21 a.m. Wednesday of an adult son out of control.
ARREST - A 43-year-old man was arrested at 8:46 p.m. Tuesday for driving while intoxicated (DWI) following a driving complaint of a vehicle swerving all over the road on Dellwood Drive and Whispering Woods Lane.

BURGLARY - A report at 2:28 p.m. Tuesday of a burglary on the 11000 block of Ebinger Road, Brainerd.
THEFT - A report Tuesday of a theft of a paddle boat on the 6600 block of Lakeview Drive, Brainerd.
A report Tuesday of a theft of signs on the 11000 block of Sorenson Lake Road.
A report Tuesday of a theft of barn wood and doors on the 27000 block of Peterson Road, Deerwood.
A report Monday of a theft of a purse and cellphone on the 20000 block of Hanks Road, Ironton.
A report Saturday of trespassing and a possible theft of wood on Crow Wing County Road 138 and Banyan Drive, Garrison.
A report Friday of a theft on the 15000 block of County Road 25, Brainerd.
A report Friday of a theft at Highway 18 Collision Center, 13587 Trails End Lane.
SUSPICIOUS - A report at 1:27 a.m. Friday of a suspicious sound in the woods on the 10000 block of Ebinger Road, Brainerd.
Breezy Point police
BEAR - A report at 8:51 p.m. Sunday of a large black bear eating garbage in the roadway. The bear remained in the area of the 12000 block of Crow Wing County Road 11, while officers cleared the roadway.
ASSIST - Assisted Nisswa police at 10:06 p.m. Saturday at a burglary in progress on Poplar Avenue, Nisswa. Complainant stated she heard someone downstairs at her home. Officers checked area but were unable to locate anyone and found no evidence of criminal activity in area.
INTOXICATED - A report at 7:03 p.m. Aug. 12 of an intoxicated male causing problems on North Lakeview Drive and complainant would like him removed. Officers responded and stated male was extremely intoxicated and belligerent toward them. Man refused a preliminary breath test, but officers were able to obtain a sample of .271. Subject was transported to detox.

ASSIST - Assisted Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office with a possible structure fire at 1:29 a.m. Saturday on Ruttgers Road. Found a fire on hillside near a structure. Ideal Fire extinguished the fire.
DISTURBANCE - A report at 12:17 a.m. Saturday of a subject causing a disturbance with staff and some patrons in a bar on Veterans Street in Jenkins. Manager fired subject and told him to leave.
A report at 10:19 p.m. Aug. 11 of a dispute with a son, who refused to leave garage and come into the house. Officers were canceled when son came into the house.
ARREST - Arrested subject at 9:14 p.m. Aug. 13 for third-degree DWI on 44th Street Southwest, Pine River.
THEFT - A report Aug. 13 of a theft of a Galaxy Note 3 cellphone on Olson Street.

DISTURBANCE - A report Sunday of a possible fight behind the Falls Bar, 107 First St. NE. A sheriff's deputy apprehended the suspect on Wood Street.
SUSPICIOUS - A report at 11:42 p.m. Sunday of a female sleeping inside a vehicle on the 600 block of Third Street Northeast. Woman said she was listening to music and fell asleep and went into the residence for the night.
A report at 5:49 a.m. Monday of a suspicious person on the 100 block of Eighth Street Northeast. The subject stated she was looking for her cat.
A report at 11:53 p.m. Saturday of a male party walking down the streets yelling near the area of Key Row on the 700 block of 11th Street Northeast.
A report at 9:56 p.m. Wednesday of a male wearing a green shirt hitting signs and vehicles on First Street and First Avenue Northeast.
ARREST - A 38-year-old was arrested at 9:53 p.m. Saturday on the 200 block of Eighth Street Southeast for having a warrant following a report of suspicious activity.
A 33-year-old was arrested at 8:28 p.m. Saturday following a report of a domestic on the 600 block of Third Street Southwest.
A 45-year-old was arrested at 2:10 pm. Friday for DWI following a traffic stop on Second Avenue Southwest.
A 48-year-old subject was arrested at 8:02 p.m. Aug. 13 on a county warrant after officers made contact with him on the 600 block of Third Street Southeast.
ASSAULT - A report at 9:05 p.m. Saturday of subject admitting punching a victim in self defense on the 100 block of First Street Southeast.
THEFT - A report Sunday of a theft from a vehicle on the 900 block of Sixth Avenue Northeast. A Canon 110 camera was taken.
A report Sunday of a theft from a vehicle on the 1000 block of Sixth Avenue Northeast. A bottle of Vicodin containing 60 pills was taken.
A report Saturday of a theft on the 300 block of Eighth Street Northeast.
FIRE - A report at 8:54 p.m. Friday of a possible fire on the 1400 block of Paul Larsen Memorial Drive. Officers located smoke and it appeared to be a fire that was dying out with just coals.
THEFT - A report of a theft of a bike on the 1500 block of Sixth Street.
A report Aug. 13 of a theft of electronics from Like Nu Gun and Pawn, 214 Second Ave. NE.
INTOXICATED - A report at 8:56 p.m. Saturday of an intoxicated subject lying down on Wisconsin Avenue Southeast. Subject was taken to Lakewood Health Systems Hospital as it appeared that he had possibly been assaulted.
ASSISTED - Assisted Motley Police Aug. 13 with an unwanted subject who was under the influence of methamphetamines.
