The following people were recently sentenced in Crow Wing District Court:

Cory J. Gerhardt, 42, Brainerd, was sentenced by Judge Richard A. Zimmerman to 90 days in Crow Wing County Jail for misdemeanor driving while intoxicated (DWI).

Hunter James Scott Vidmar, 20, Brainerd, was sentenced by Judge Earl E. Maus to 103 months in the Minnesota Correctional Facility in St. Cloud for felony first-degree assault, with sentence stayed for 20 years.

Theodore T. Johnston, 37, Crosby, was sentenced by Zimmerman to one year in county jail, with 335 days stayed for three years for gross misdemeanor DWI.

Amber L. Wynn, 24, Nisswa, was sentenced by Maus to one year and one day in the Shakopee prison, with sentence stayed for five years for felony identity theft.

Greg L. Rosenkranz, 59, Brainerd, was sentenced by Maus to one year in county jail with sentence stayed for two years for two gross misdemeanor traffic violations-driving after cancellation-inimical to public safety.

Jeremy A. Wallin, 36, Pequot Lakes, was sentenced by Zimmerman to 28 months in the St. Cloud prison for two felony counts of fifth-degree possession of drugs.

Xavier M. Bethel, 29, Brainerd, was sentenced by Judge David Ten Eyck to 14 months in the St. Cloud prison for felony predatory offender-knowingly violated the registration requirement or intentionally provided false information.

Joseph A. Christensen, 24, Mora County Jail, was sentenced by Zimmerman to 90 days in county jail for misdemeanor DWI.

Joseph J. Mallick, Jr., 37, Chisholm, was sentenced by Zimmerman to 21 months in the St. Cloud prison for felony fifth-degree drug possession.

Chelsea R. Tow, 29, Brainerd, was sentenced by Zimmerman to five years of supervised probation for fifth-degree drug possession. Successful completion of probation will result in a misdemeanor conviction.

Kevin D. Kastning, 40, Pequot Lakes, was sentenced by Zimmerman to one year in county jail, with 335 days stayed for two years for gross misdemeanor driving after cancellation-inimical to public safety.

James W. Lackey, 31, Brainerd, was sentenced by Zimmerman to one year in county jail, with 335 days stayed for two years for gross misdemeanor obstructing the legal process-interfering with a peace officer.

Leon R. Ivison, 27, Brainerd, was sentenced by Zimmerman to 17 months in the St. Cloud prison, with sentence stayed for 10 years for fifth-degree drug possession.

Editor's note: In court terms, when a person is sentenced and given a time that is "stayed," it means that if the person violates the terms of their probation, that they may have to serve the original jail/prison sentence that the judge imposed.
