Clean-up of a nuisance property north of Brainerd was delayed this morning when a car was parked across the owner's driveway, blocking access. County officials explained they would get a tow truck if needed. The owner's son moved the car and clean-up began.

A sheep-chasing dog was caught in a trap set by a farmer on Route 3, Brainerd. The sheriff's report said that a dog owned by the farmer's neighbor had killed 12 sheep valued at $1,500. The neighbor identified the large German shepherd as his and told the farmer to shoot it.

The Gull Lake Chain Assn., in existence for eight years and numbering 600 to 700 members, has called for cooperation of all property owners and fishermen on the chain. They seek removal of perch and other rough fish from the lakes to give game fish a chance.

Brainerd's fast-stepping baseball Muskies are at the threshold of the top spot in the Northern League with a record of 20-15. They take on the league-leading Fargo-Moorhead Twins - record of 19-13 - in games here today and tomorrow. A huge crowd is expected.

The 10-inch water main which has been laid in the Northeast Brainerd fill was connected up and the water turned on last night. The connection will give Northeast Brainerd good water service again.
