The Brainerd American Legion baseball team zipped past Little Falls after falling behind 5-0. Brainerd scored 12 runs in a four-inning span to dump Little Falls by 12-8 to improve their season record to 14-3.

Investigators from the Minn. Dept. of Health and the Centers for Disease Control are trying to pinpoint the source of a large outbreak of chronic diarrhea here. Nine epidemiologists under direction of Dr. Mike Osterholm are working on the case.
