A 20/20 Sound employee was robbed last night while making a deposit at Brainerd
National Bank in Baxter. Melissa Magnan was approached by a man wearing a multi-
colored ski mask who pushed her to the ground and grabbed the bank deposit bag.

An outbreak of diarrhea that has struck up to 50 people in Crow Wing County may have
been caused by consuming raw or unpasteurized milk. Carol Carlson, Crow Wing
County nursing director, says investigators say the milk may have come from the Harold Thiesse dairy.

The people of Mission Township are determined to have their own fire department. In the
past they have not been a part of any fire protection system. Needed now are a building
estimated at $20,000 and some more equipment.

Recovery of the loot taken in a robbery of the TNT Cafe in Northeast Brainerd was
reported by police. No charges will be filed. Burglars entered through a coal chute and
took cigarettes, beer, $3 cash and a slot machine.

George R. West has a great collection of wishbones - 17 of them - hanging over his cash
register. George says when he accumulates four more, two from ducks and one each from
a rice hen and a goose, he will reveal the secret of their being and tell the whole story.
