WNBA: Moore helps Lynx break Fever
MINNEAPOLIS – Maya Moore scored 25 points as the Minnesota Lynx held off the Indiana Fever for an 83-77 win Sunday night at Target Center.
Moore made 9 of 16 attempts from the field and was 6-for-6 at the foul line and grabbed six rebounds. She scored 11 points in the final quarter to help the defending WNBA champion Lynx improve to 11-4.
Seimone Augustus and Lindsay Whalen each scored 16 points for Minnesota. Augustus was 6 of 11 from the floor. Whalen made all five of her field goal attempts and all six of her free throws and collected five assists.
Lynx center Janel McCarville added 10 points as she made 5 of 6 shots. Deveraux Peters contributed six rebounds and nine points for the Lynx, who trailed 41-35 at the half.
Karima Christmas paced Indiana with 18 points. Shavonte Zellous and Briann January each scored 16 for the Fever. Erlana Larkins pulled down a game-high 10 rebounds for Indiana, which was outscored 48-36 in the second half.

Lynx 75, Mystics 65
MINNEAPOLIS — Playing with an injury, Seimone Augustus scored 19 points and the Minnesota Lynx beat the Washington Mystics 75-65 Friday night.
Augustus returned after missing Wednesday's loss in Phoenix due to left knee bursitis. She shot 9 of 14 from the field in 26 minutes.
Maya Moore added 20 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists for the Lynx. Lindsay Whalen scored 12 points and dished out seven assists.
Kia Vaughn had 10 points and a career-high 13 rebounds for Washington and Kara Lawson added 14 points for the Mystics.
