Citing excessive cost, Mills stops recount push

Lakes area Chamber concerts set for Sunday

The third annual Lakes Area Chamber Music Festival will present its Prelude Series concert at 3 p.m. Sunday at Deerwood’s Salem Lutheran Church and at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Nisswa’s Lutheran Church of the Cross. 

There is no admission fee or ticket necessary. The program will include J.S. Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in G-minor, Brahms’ Violin Sonata No. 2, Corelli’s Trio Sonata No. 2, Dvorak’s Piano Quartet in E-flat Major, Handel-Halverson’s Passacaglia, Korngold’s Der Friedensbote, Schubert’s Die Forelle, Vieuxtemps’ Souvenir D’Amerique, and von Weber’s Fantasia and Rondo for Clarinet. The music will be performed by graduate music students from America’s leading music conservatories.
