Great River Strings

Great River Strings and the Ripple River Strings, fall concerts: 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Salem Lutheran Church in Deerwood; and 3 p.m. Sunday at First Lutheran Church in Aitkin. Admission is $8 for adults, $5 for seniors and students and $20 for families. Children under 6 are free.


“39 Steps” performance

“39 Steps,” performed at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, Chalberg Theatre at Central Lakes College. Reserved seating tickets are $27 and $22 and are available by calling the CLC Theatre Box Office at 218-855-8199, or can be purchased online at

BHS jazz concert

Brainerd High School (BHS) jazz concert, 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, Tornstrom Auditorium. Admission is $6 for adults and $4 for students and seniors.


Grassroots Concerts Series

‘Guys and Dolls’

“Guys and Dolls,” 7:30 p.m. Friday-Sunday and Nov. 16-18, Pequot Lakes High School Theater. Friday and Saturday performances at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors 60 and over and $8 for youth 18 and under. Tickets can be reserved by calling 218-568-9200 and will be available at the door starting one hour before each performance. Accidental Hero

Accidental Hero performance 7:30 p.m. Friday, Centennial Auditorium. Tickets are $12 for adults in advance or $15 for adults and $1 for students at the door. Tickets are available online and at the Staples Motley Public Schools Community Education Office at 218-894-2497.
