Kaleidoscope, first Saturday of the month for ages 8 and up at 10 a.m., Jaques Art Center; art classes, first Wednesday of the month, 1-4 p.m. Beginning to Intermediate Watercolor for adults will be held Jan. 25 and 26. Crossing Arts Alliance Flipside children’s art event, 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Literacy Art and Illustrations with Bob Fulton. Suggested material fee donation is $3 per child or $5 per family. No child will be turned away due to financial need.

HSO dinner/ensemble

The Heartland Symphony Orchestra (HSO) to host a five course meal paired with music ensembles performed by members of the HSO, 3 p.m. Jan. 27, A.T. Black and White Restaurant. Tickets are $40 and can be purchased through Friday at the following locations in Little Falls: Bookin’ It, Great River Regional Arts and KLTF Radio. Singing opportunities

The St. Francis Community Chorale meets from 7-8:30 p.m. Thursdays; Sestri, a Women’s Slavic Choir, meets at 7 p.m. Sundays; Brothers in Harmony, a men’s singing group open to teenage and adult men will meet from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Mondays; for more information, call the St. Francis Music Center at 320-632-0637.

I've worked at the Brainerd Dispatch with various duties since Dec. 7, 1983. Starting off as an Ad Designer and currently Director of Audience Development. The Dispatch has been an interesting and challenging place to work. I'm fortunate to have made many friends, both co-workers and customers.
