June 23: Fabulous Armadillos, 4 p.m.; Buckcherry, 6 p.m.; Bret Michaels, 8 p.m.; and Skillet, 10:30 p.m. On the secondary stage will be Analog Drifters at noon; and Fookey at 2 p.m.; Kat Perkins at 11:30 p.m.

Book Sale

Friends of the Brainerd Public Library will hold a sale of children's and young adult books at the Brainerd Library: Sale hours are 3-6 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday.

Summer Solstice

"Summer Solstice at St. Mathias," an event staged by the Lakes Area Music Festival, June 23, the Farm at St. Mathias. Northwoods Arts Council's music festival, July 7-8 with "SINATRA! Josh Duffee and his Big Band Play the Music of Frank Sinatra." Fifteen musicians and a vocalist Jason Richards performing concerts at 7:30 p.m. July 8, Hackensack Community Center. A free band clinic will be sponsored at 11 a.m. July 8.
