OTHER - Deputies received a report Thursday of a Brainerd resident who misplaced his shotgun. The gun was secured by the Brainerd Police Department.

The Brainerd Fire Department responded at 5:04 p.m. Friday to St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd for what turned out to be a false alarm.

Steven and Kristen Pratt, Merrifield, a girl, 8 pounds, 7 ounces, Oct. 26, 2009. Grandparents are Jerry and Karen Pratt, Effie, John Lindemann, Fifty Lakes, and Roberta Lindemann, Hopkins.

PINE RIVER - A 58-year-old Crosslake man was injured Friday after he lost control of the vehicle he was driving. The vehicle crossed the center line and hit a Crow Wing Power truck head-on on Crow Wing County Road 1, six miles east of Pine River, reported the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Department.
