Don’t deport children

To deport the children and young people on our border betrays our national heritage and values, as well as flying in the face of the biblical injunction of offering hospitality to the stranger and alien.  We have been richly blessed and as the richest nation the world has ever known, we are in place to do all sorts of good in regard to refugee and immigration issues.  We have the resources:  it is a matter of political will.

Please contact the President and members of Congress to encourage a compassionate response to the current crisis.  As a nation, we want to be able to “look at ourselves in the mirror in the morning”.

President Obama, Rep. Nolan, Sen. Klobuchar and Sen. Franken can be reached by calling the Capitol switchboard: 202-224-3121.
