Polar Bear Plunge
Polar Bear Plunge
We would like to thank the participants, volunteers, spectators and especially the Special Olympic athletes who participated in this year’s Polar Bear Plunge at Breezy Point Resort March 5.
We had 298 plungers and raised just under $68,000 for the athletes of Special Olympics MN.
We look forward to seeing you March 2012 again at Breezy Point Resort.

Thank you to everyone that attended the second annual Essentia Health Community Health Fair. Essentia Health hopes that each of you went home with an idea that will help you live healthier. We would also like to thank the non-profit organizations that shared their information with the community, the Westgate Mall staff for all their assistance setting up the event, Riddles Jewelry for their generous prize donation, and for our employees that shared their talents at our booths. Thank you very much.

Thank you so much to the Brainerd Police, Sheriff’s office and the two good Samaritans, one that gave me a snowmobile ride to catch my team, and one that stood on my sled brake while I got the dogs safely to my trailer. I don’t know your names but you were both godsends. We prayed the team would tangle and they did. Sorry for “the drag” Officer Clarine! Again, many thanks everyone.
