CHILD IN NEED: Eric is waiting for a mentor

Here is a child from the Brainerd area who is waiting for a Kinship Partner mentor.

Eric is 8 and lives with his grandma and his younger sister. He likes soccer, Boy Scouts, and going to the park. When he grows up he wants to be a cop or be in the army.

He said he wants a Kinship mentor who is “nice, fun to be with, and active”. Since Eric has no contact with his father, his grandma wants him to have a guy figure in his life that will be a consistent presence and will be someone Eric can look up to.

Kinship Partners serves families in Crow Wing County, southern Cass county and the Staples/Motley area by providing positive role models to youth from the ages of 5 to 14. We have offices in Brainerd, Pequot Lakes, Crosby and Staples.

For more information about Kinship Partners or any of the kids on our waiting list, call (218) 829-4606, or toll free at (877)730-5437 or visit our website at
