Puttin' on The Mitts: Energizing our lives
The Mitts are embracing change and participating in the Your Energized Year lifestyle change challenge sponsored by Crow Wing Energized. It's a 16-week program designed to teach people in a group setting how to change their lifestyles for the better and to prevent the onset of diabetes. Topics include watching fat intake, being active, dealing with stress and problem solving.
In the next column, The Mitts will be sharing some healthy recipes to help lower calories and assist you (and us!) in making better choices on the path to a healthier lifestyle.

You can also meet The Mitts at the Everything Expo March 18-19 at the Essentia Health Sports Center. We'll be there from noon to 3 p.m. March 18 at the Brainerd Dispatch booth. We'll take your recipe suggestions, hear your thoughts on the column and maybe even have a couple samples of our past recipes to share! Hope to see you there!
