FLC to be part of Joint Churches Reformation service
First Lutheran Church of Brainerd will be part of the Joint Churches Reformation service at 11 a.m. Sunday at Tornstrom Auditorium.
FLC will have an 8 a.m. service but not the 10:30 a.m. service. There will still be Sunday school and coffee fellowship.
Public rosary procession planned
A public rosary procession will take place Thursday following the 5:30 p.m. mass at St. Francis Catholic Church on North Ninth St.
The procession will proceed west on Juniper Street to North Eighth Street and then south on Eighth Street until it becomes South Ninth Street. The procession will turn east on Willow Street and end at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, 1108 Willow St.
Free bus transportation to St. Francis Church will be available at St. Andrew's Church parking lot starting at 4:30 p.m. There will also be transportation available during the procession for those who prefer not to walk the 1.3 miles.
As the statue of Our Lady of Fatima is carried, join in the public testimony to faith and to answer our Lady's request to pray for the reparation of sins, for the conversion of sinners and for peace in the world, during this 100th anniversary of Our Lady's appearances in Fatima.

Fall Clothing Share at Lord of Life Lutheran Church
Lord of Life Lutheran Church will have a fall clothing share from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 13 and from 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 14 at 6190 Fairview Road, Baxter.
The event is open to the public and all items of adult women's, men's and children's clothing are free.

Bethel Lutheran events
There will be no services at Bethel Lutheran this Sunday so members may attend the 500th anniversary of the Reformation celebration at Tornstrom Auditorium in Brainerd.
Bible study will be 6:30 p.m. Monday. Ladies of the Church will meet 10 a.m. Wednesday.
The annual fall bake and rummage sale will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 14.
Pastor Don will meet with the confirmation class from 10 a.m. to noon Oct. 14.
Blessing of the Animals set
LITTLE FALLS—The Franciscan Sisters of Little Falls and First Lutheran Church invite all animal lovers and their pets to a traditional Blessing of Animals noon Sunday at Washington Park/playground, 113 NE Fourth St. (next to Carnegie Library).
During the service, each animal present will be individually blessed. Bring pet dogs, cats, llamas, guinea pigs, sheep, salamanders, woolly bear caterpillars, ferrets, turtles, pigs, chickens and cows.
This event is held each year in honor of Saint Francis of Assisi, patron saint of animals and of all creation.

The Public Square Rosary Rally Crusade is prayed nationally and worldwide. Join in praying at noon Oct. 14 at the big fish on Highway 169 in Garrison.

PINE RIVER—A lutefisk and meatball supper will be from 3:30-7 p.m. Oct. 14 at First Lutheran Church, 309 Second St. N., Pine River.
Cost: adults, $15; children 5-12, $6; and children under 5, free.
