Little Falls Senor Center happenings

LITTLE FALLS — The Little Falls Senior Center will host its monthly pancake, sausage and egg breakfast and bargain bin sale from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sept. 2. Cost is $6 for adults; age 6-10 is $3 and age 5 and under is free.

The center will host its Labor Day celebration at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 6 with live music by Walt Monson and Friends. A meal will be served at 5 p.m. For the meal, make reservations by calling (320) 632-8200.

Denise Pollard of the University of Minnesota Extension’s nutrition education program will talk about “Apples Galore” at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 12. Everyone is welcome to the upcoming events.

The senior center also is looking for volunteers to help with the doughnut Thursday mornings, which the sales start at 6:30 a.m. For more information on volunteering, call Kathy Burgardt at the senior center at (320) 632-8009 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
