Spirit of Christmas Bazaar

The scents of fresh baked rolls, coffee and apple cider will welcome you to the Spirit of Christmas Bazaar from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 10 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 600 Fourth St. SW, Crosby. Plan extra time to browse through the quality crafts ranging from furniture to photography, wearables and jewelry to scarves, fresh wreaths to handmade cards and paintings. A pulled pork or turkey sandwich lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Take out lunches will also be available. For a $1 donation six dinners will be offered in area homes.

One Stop Shop

BAXTER — First Baptist Church, 7398 Fairview Road N., Baxter, will be hosting the annual One Stop Shop from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 10. This event showcases many at-home businesses and artisans. Use the east door.

All Saints Sunday

All Saints Sunday will be celebrated at Truth Lutheran Church in Brainerd on Sunday. All Saints Sunday provides folks an opportunity to honor loved ones who have passed away. During the worship service a candle is lit as the name of the deceased is read. Special prayers are offered and a moment of silence is observed to honor the memory of the loved one.

The public is invited to take part in this worship service. One need not contact the church in advance to participate in this celebration. Simply come to worship on Sunday. Truth Lutheran Church meets at the Brainerd Hotel on South Sixth Street at 9 a.m.

Divinely His in concert

The Church On The Wise Road, 10345 Wise Road, Brainerd, will present Divinely His in concert at 7 p.m. Saturday. Divinely His (Sharron and Karen Packer) are from Plymouth. They will perform Southern country gospel.

Worship and prayer

This Sunday from 1-3 p.m., consider coming to the backroom of the Sawmill Inn to worship and pray for God’s will to be done in His World, America, Minnesota, central Minnesota and the Brainerd lakes area. Worship and pray as long as you are able. If you are unable to attend, be praying for the will of our Heavenly Father to be done here on Earth, as it already is in Heaven.

FLC Women’s Retreat

Women from First Lutheran Church in Brainerd will join together for fellowship and spiritual growth at the second annual FLC Women’s Retreat entitled “Come to the Well — God Meets Our Needs.” The retreat will be held at Cragun’s Resort, Gull Lake, on Friday, Nov. 2, and Saturday.

All Saints Day will be observed this Sunday at First Lutheran Church in Brainerd. Worship services will be held at 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. and will include the reading of the names of individuals who have died in faith and those who have been baptized in faith in the past year. Holy Communion will be served at both services and the FLC Sr. Choir will share special music at both services. Also, make sure to come for coffee fellowship between services at 9:15 a.m, as we begin our salute to veterans with a picture display in Koinonia.

On Monday, “Growth Through Grief” a four-week series, will be offered at First Lutheran Church, 424 S. Eighth St., Brainerd. The group will meet on Mondays at 7:15 p.m. in the Youth Room. If you are experiencing grief or know of anyone who would benefit from grief support, contact Pastor Kristin Oltmann at 829-9552 prior to the first session. This series is open to the public but pre-registration is requested.

Turkey Bingo

HARDING — Holy Cross Church in Harding will be having turkey Bingo on Sunday in the church basement starting at 1:30 p.m. Cost is $5 for 20 games. Soft cards will be sold during the sets with the winner to receive $25. Blackout at the end of the game will be 25 cents a card. A free lunch will be served. Bingo is sponsored by the Rosary Sodality and all the proceeds will be donated to the parish roof fund.
