Misconceptions on technology

• Everyone has access to everything — The only information available online is the information you yourself put out there. While fears of online shopping, banking and medical records are valid, those would not be put online if they weren’t surrounded by the utmost security. Hackers can access that as much as burglars can access your house.

• We’re losing face-to-face contact — Another valid argument, but at the same time, with the help of social media, people are expanding their networks and opening doors for face-to-face contact with people they otherwise might not have been connected to.
