Sons of Norway

Lodge No. 1-659

ISLE — Tusenvann, Sons of Norway Lodge No. 1-659 in Isle, will meet at noon Feb. 11 at the I.R.E.C. building in Isle. Program will be given by Lori Christian, “The Greenhouse Lady,” who will discuss new plant varieties and answer gardening questions. For questions call Donna at (320) 676-1638 or Gary at 927-6557.

Hot beef sandwiches will be served by Terry and Sons from 5:30 p.m. until gone Thursday at the Brainerd Legion. Cost: $8.

Brainerd Eagles

Club breakfast

The Brainerd Eagles Club breakfast will be from 8:30 a.m. to noon Sunday at 124 Front St., Brainerd. The breakfast features the Eagles special for $6.

Duplicate bridge scores

Lois Volkmuth and Phyllis DeRosier, 32.5; Sandy Weber and Ray Norrgard, 26.5; and LaVonne Skoog and Clif Johnson, 25.5.

Senior dances

Senior dances will be 2-5 p.m. Wednesday at the Brainerd Eagles with music by Frank Gust; and from 1-4 p.m. Friday at Deerwood with music by Country Ramblers. (LeRoy’s)

Ray’s Promenaders

Ray’s Promenaders will have a square dance Friday at Franklin Arts Center. Roger McNeil will be the caller. Plus begins at 7:30 p.m. with Mainstream at 8 p.m. It’s chocolate night for the finger food lunch following the dance.

Mission Possible

Senior Club

The Mission Possible Senior Club will meet at noon Wednesday at the Mission Town Hall. A potluck will be followed by speaker Bill Matthies from MN School of Diving.

VFW Friday night dinner

The VFW Friday night dinner will be spaghetti and meatballs serving from 5:30 p.m. until gone. Cost: $6.

Alpha Chapter

No. 23 to meet

Alpha Chapter No. 23 will meet from 5-8 p.m. Monday at Pizza Ranch in Baxter.

Chapter DV, P.E.O to meet

The Chapter DV, P.E.O will meet at 10 a.m. Feb. 4 at the home of Diane Sell with Jan Morton as a co-host.

Sarah Swanstrom will present a program on Founder’s Day.
