'Finding Big Foot' dinner theater production set

The First Lutheran Church youths will be putting on a dinner theater production of "Finding Big Foot" on Feb. 26.

Seating starts at 5:30 p.m. with dinner and performance at 6 p.m. This original production is a fundraiser for the youth trip to Montana and the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Audience participation is expected. Purchase tickets in the church office or from the youths between Sunday services. Call Vicki Foss in the office for more information.

Fish fry dinners planned

STAPLES—Sacred Heart Area School community fish fry dinners at Sacred Heart Church, Staples will be from 4:30-7 p.m., March 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 and April 7.

Cost: $9; seniors, $8; children 4-12, $5; and 3 and younger free.

Lenten services at Bethesda Lutheran announced

ISLE—Lenten services at Bethesda Lutheran Church of Malmo, 21590 State Highway 47, Isle, will be March 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 and April 5 with a 5:30 p.m. potluck and 6:30 p.m. service.

Maundy Thursday service will be 6:30 p.m. April 13. A Good Friday service will be 9 a.m. April 14. Easter Sunday services will be 8:30 and 10 a.m. April 16.

Seventh Sunday of Epiphany

Pastor Jeff Macejkovic will lead the seventh Sunday of Epiphany worship service at

Bethel Lutheran Church South Long Lake at 9 a.m.

The message will continue from the text of the sermon on the mount and Holy Communion will be served. Sunday school classes and coffee fellowship will follow at 10 a.m.

Bethel is located at the intersection of Thompson Road and Five Mile Road.
