Class of 1950 will have a luncheon every third Wednesday of the month at 11:30 a.m. at Bonanza.

Nisswa Garden Club

The Nisswa Garden Club will meet at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at the Lutheran Church of the Cross in Nisswa. Check-in and social time will begin at noon. Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m. followed by a business meeting. The program will be "The Moon Garden." Speaker is Jennifer Knutson. Coordinator: Jill Macnamara. Wadena Whirlaways Square Dance Club

WADENA - The Wadena Whirlaways Square Dance Club will be hosting a dance Thursday at the Wadena VFW in Wadena. Tom Allen is the caller and the theme is Root for your home team. Plus dancing begins at 7:30 p.m. and mainstream dancing at 8 p.m.

Nisswa Legion events

NISSWA - Farmers Market will be 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday at the Nisswa Legion.

Friday night dinner will be a pasta bar served from 5-7 p.m. Cost: $12.95.

Country school reunion planned Sept. 6

A country school reunion will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 6 at the Pleasant Hill Church on County Road 1.

Anyone in the area who went to a country school is welcome to attend.

Tusenvann Sons of Norway Lodge No. 1-659

ISLE - Tusenvann Sons of Norway Lodge No. 1-659 in Isle will meet for our monthly meeting 7 p.m. Sept. 12 at the I.R.E.C. Building In Isle. The program will be a Norwegian Troll who will talk about the life of a troll and give advice to attendees about their ailments. Brainerd Area Art Club

The Washington High School class of 1958 will meet 10 a.m. Wednesday at Brick House Pizza.

VFW Friday dinner

VFW Friday dinner will be walleye served from 5:30 p.m. until gone. Cost is $10. Call in your reservations by calling the Club at 829-6393.

Encore Arts Association meeting

Encore Arts Association meeting has been rescheduled for 1 p.m. Monday at The Center. Linda Axvig will lead a hands-on demonstration on creating beautiful mosaic crosses with broken glass and other supplies being furnished. A nominal fee will be charged for the basic wooden crosses (between $2 to $4 depending upon the size). Members are asked to bring an hors d'oeuvre to share.

Zonta Club of Brainerd

Zonta Club will meet noon Wednesday at Pizza Ranch.

Zonta is an international organization committed to advancing the status of women and girls. Women interested are welcome to attend, feel free to come for lunch. Senior dances

Senior dances will be from 1-4 p.m. Wednesday at Waukenabo with music by The Chmielewskis; and 2 p.m. Thursday at the Little Falls Senior Center with music by Social Security Express.

Friends of Fabric and Fibers
