Architect to unveil W-DC school design


WADENA - Architects will unveil a new school design for the Wadena-Deer Creek High School at a public meeting 6:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. Monday in the Wadena-Deer Creek Elementary Music Room No. 38, Mr. Ortmann's room.


 Perkins+Will architect Steve Miller will unveil the latest plans for the new school design. Miller will also present an overview of the space allocations for each of the curriculum areas.

The school district reported the plans will feature two levels for the high school, a middle-school concept (5th and 6th grade), as well as a variety of "green" ideas.

Miller will be available to answer questions from parents, students, staff and the public.
