Crosslake plans special meetings
CROSSLAKE — The Crosslake City Council plans to meet in a special session Tuesday and Thursday at city hall.
Tuesday’s meeting, beginning at 8:30 a.m., is scheduled as a closed session with legal counsel to discuss the Schueller Properties versus city of Crosslake litigation regarding the denial of an after-the-fact variance from the zoning ordinance and the denial of appeal to the City Council.
A special meeting is planned at 9 a.m. Thursday for a joint meeting with the city council and Planning and Zoning Commission.
The purpose of the meeting will be to consider certifying unpaid subdivision and zoning service charges for Dean and Judy Eggena and David Nevin, discuss city fees, discuss application processing and work procedures, consider contracting with the city of Breezy Point to provide temporary personnel assistance for their Planning & Zoning Department, discuss the appointment of the community development cirector as an ex-officio (non-voting) member of the Pine River Watershed Alliance and approve bills for payment.
