Benefit planned Sunday for Brainerd infant
A benefit dinner, silent auction and dance for Gavin Sabourin is planned Sunday at the Eagles Club, 124 Front Street in Brainerd.
The sloppy joes, homemade baked beans and potato salad dinner, along with the silent auction, will be 2-6 p.m. Sunday. The Workin’ Boys Band will perform from 6-9 p.m.
Tickets are $7 for adults and $4 for children ages 2-10.
Baby Gavin was hospitalized on Jan. 7 because of complications with breathing. He underwent major surgery Jan. 9 to remove, reposition and reattach his pulmonary artery. Doctors also had to reconstruct his windpipe to allow his breathing to return to normal. Due to Gavin’s substantial medical care needs and the distance between the Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis and Brainerd, Gavin’s parents, Jeffrey and Amber, are facing emotional and financial hardships.
Those who wish to donate a silent auction items may contact Joan Hebert at (218) 831-8607 or email@example.com.
