BACKUS — Eli Hunt, Walker, was unanimously re-elected to a second term of the Cass County DFL at the party unit’s annual convention in Backus Saturday.

“The past two years has been a good learning process,” he told delegates before the election of officers began. “I’ve been involved in DFL politics for 40 years and I am ready to continue to lead the party in Cass County.”

Other officers elected or re-elected Saturday were Molly MacGregor, Walker, associate chair; Alison Edgerton, Backus, secretary; and Al Larson, Pillager, treasurer. Sonja Foss, Remer, was elected affirmative action officer.

Martha Johnson, Meg Bye and Roger Grussing were elected directors.
