Older American Month to be noted with event


Lutheran Social Services Senior Nutrition Program and the Lakes Area Senior Activity Center in Brainerd will be hosting an open house May 4 at the senior center in honor of Older Americans Month.


The open house is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., where the senior center will provide tours of the facility, with a meal being served from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. 

A suggested donation for seniors age 60 or older is $3.50 and under age 60 is $6.50. Participants are asked to RSVP at 824-6026 no later than April 28.

No reservations are needed for the tour.
