Golden Valley man killed in motorcycle accident

A 65-year-old Golden Valley man was killed while riding his motorcycle Saturday on Crow Wing County Road 8 just south of the intersection of County Road 108, when it left the road and rolled several times, the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s department reported Monday.

The man was riding with a motorcycle club from the Twin Cities area that was riding in the Brainerd lakes area. The man was not wearing a helmet.

The accident was reported around 5 p.m. 

The sheriff’s office is withholding the name of the man pending notification of family.

North Ambulance, North Aircare, State Patrol, DNR and the Brainerd Fire Department assisted at the scene.
