Highway 27 project in Little Falls begins Monday
BAXTER — Motorists will encounter a road closure at the BNSF Railway tracks on Highway 27/Broadway Avenue in Little Falls when a track repair project begins at 6 a.m. Monday.
Traffic will be detoured on Highway 27 to Paul Larson Drive, Ninth Avenue, Lindbergh Drive and back to Highway 27. Temporary four-way stop signs will be placed at Paul Larson Drive, Ninth Avenue and Lindbergh Drive.
Work is scheduled to be completed by 6 p.m. Friday, June 24, weather permitting.
During construction and road maintenance work, the Minnesota Department of Transportation urges drivers to:
• Never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
• Plan ahead and expect delays, especially during peak travel times.
• Check www.511mn.org or call 511 for up-to-date information about traffic and road conditions.
With the projects, MnDOT urges drivers to be alert for the unexpected.
