Pastor still critical; boy still in good condition

Pastor Chip Avelsgaard, injured Sunday afternoon after his motorcycle crashed into a vehicle on Highway 371 in Baxter, continued to be listed in critical condition late Tuesday afternoon at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale. 

Avelsgaard, pastor at Oak Street Chapel in Brainerd, was injured after he was unable to stop his motorcycle and crashed into a vehicle in front of him on Highway 371 near Excelsior Road, the Baxter Police Department reported. 

In Morrison County, Michael Segler, 14, Little Falls, who was injured Sunday after being struck by a vehicle while he was walking with his bicycle on Highway 115 about a mile west of Randall, continued to be in good condition Tuesday afternoon at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale.
