SBDC at CLC announces contingencies in case of state shutdown on July 1
Based on state government shutdown information currently available, beginning July 1 the contract Central Lakes College has with the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development for the Small Business Development Center in Brainerd will be suspended.
That means the SBDC will not be able to provide business consulting services to individuals and businesses until any suspension has ended.
“We are working with leadership in St. Paul and locally to identify options to continue services,” said Greg Bergman, regional SBDC director. “I do not know when or how this will be resolved, but we wanted to make our current and potential clients aware.”
Here are resources that have been providing SBDC consulting and will be able to continue to provide services during this time of shutdown. Other local resources may be available in other areas as well.
