Coon Rapids woman dies at campground


CUYUNA — A Coon Rapids woman died Friday after several attempts were made to resuscitate her at the Cuyuna County State Recreation Area, Portsmouth Campground.

Crosby police responded at 9:50 a.m. after receiving a call of an unresponsive female. Officers arrived along with Cuyuna Regional Medical Center Ambulance personnel. The female was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers suspect no foul play at this time.
