Board splits 3-2 on vote to deny expanding employee to full time

Email

The Crow Wing County Board voted 3-2 to deny the move of a part-time employee to full time for Community Services managed care for senior citizens with medical assistance. Staff said the full-time position would pay for itself and bring in $7,000 in additional revenue beyond that from insurance providers.

Commissioners Paul Thiede, Phil Trusty and Rosemary Franzen voted against. Commissioners Doug Houge and Rachel Reabe Nystrom voted in favor.
