Holdingford man hurt in collision
BUCKMAN — An 68-year-old Holdingford man was injured in a two-vehicle collision at about 9:50 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of 93rd Street and 290th Avenue in Buckman Township near Buckman, the Morrison County Sheriff’s Department reported.
Bailey Poster, 18, Pierz, was northbound on 290th Avenue when she failed to stop for a stop sign before crossing 93rd Street, the sheriff’s department reported.
A vehicle driven by James Vanderheyden, which was eastbound on 93rd Street, struck Poster’s vehicle as it crossed through the intersection.
Vanderheyden and Poster were alone in their vehicles at the time of the crash and both were wearing seat belts, the sheriff’s department reported. Poster was not injured. Vanderheyden was transported by Gold Cross Ambulance to St. Gabriel’s Hospital in Little Falls.
Both vehicles were significantly damaged.
