Two arrested on drug charges in Todd County
LONG PRAIRIE — Two people were arrested for possession of methamphetamine and marijuana after officers Friday executed a search warrant at a residence in Section 26 of Stowe Prairie Township in Todd County, the Todd County Sheriff’s Department reported.
Jason Burton, 36, and Cari Crooker, 31, were arrested for possession of methamphetamine and marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a short barreled shotgun and possession of stolen property.
Burton and Crooker are being held in the Todd County Jail pending formal criminal charges from the Todd County Attorney’s office.
The search warrant was executed by the Central Minnesota Drug and Gang Task Force, the Todd County Sheriff’s Department and the Wadena Hubbard County Special Weapon and Tactics Unit. The Staples Police Department also assisted in the investigation.
