Cass Lake woman injured in rollover Tuesday

A 61-year-old Cass Lake woman received minor injuries after the vehicle she was in rolled over at 5:18 a.m. Tuesday, just south of the Highway 371 Bypass, reported the State Patrol.

Judy Potter was taken to Essentia Health St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd where she was treated and then released.

Staples man injured in rollover Sunday

STAPLES — A 19-year-old Staples man was injured after the vehicle he was driving rolled over at 7:10 p.m. Sunday on Wadena County Road 30, north of Staples in Thomastown Township, reported the Wadena County Sheriff’s Office.

Leighton Griffith was taken to Lakewood Health System in Staples with non-life threatening injuries. Information on his condition was unavailable Tuesday.

It was reported that the vehicle driven by Griffith was traveling north when it lost control on a curve, skidded out of control, crossed into the southbound lane and entered the southbound ditch. The vehicle hit an approach and rolled. Griffith had to be extricated from the vehicle

The Staples Police Department, Staples Fire Department and Staples Ambulance Service assisted at the scene.
