The Brainerd High School A Cappella and Windfall Choirs will be presenting a Christmas Madrigal Dinner on Thursday, December 1st and Friday, December 2nd.

The Wassail social will begin at 6pm and the dinner begins promptly at 7pm.

The dinner will be held at The Legacy Clubhouse Pavilion on Hwy 77.

Start your Christmas season with a Renaissance feast with all the trimmings. Come back to a time when an evening of entertainment, music and laughter revolved around a sumptuous feast fit for a king.

Be welcomed by the King and his court, be entertained by the court Jester and his band of actors, and enjoy the music of roving minstrals, carolers, and the choir. Tickets are available for both evenings that include an evening of entertainment and dining (four course meal).

The tickets are $30 for Thursday evening and $35 for Friday.

Tickets must be pre-purchased and seating is limited. Your reserved seat is available through Shirley in the BHS Main Office, phone reservation, or e-mail .

Reservations are on a first come, first served basis. Round tables of 8 maximum. Sorry, no refunds.

THE COLLEGE ADMISSIONS REPRESENTATIVE from Valley City State University will be in the Career Center at 11:00AM on Tues., Nov. 29. Please take advantage of this opportunity.

If you need a pass to come for the visit, please make those arrangements with Linda Dockter in the Career Center or Jolene Owen in the Student Services Office the morning of the visit.

MEETING FOR MISS BRAINERD'S OUTSTANDING TEEN PAGEANT will be held Wednesday, November 30th at 3:45 in the media center at South Campus. Come and find out about this new and exciting event.


SPANISH CLUB AND BHS SPANISH CLASSES wish to thank all who contributed to the November Food Drive.

380 pounds of food were donated to the Salvation Army before Thanksgiving. Muchas gracias for your generosity!!

I've worked at the Brainerd Dispatch with various duties since Dec. 7, 1983. Starting off as an Ad Designer and currently Director of Audience Development. The Dispatch has been an interesting and challenging place to work. I'm fortunate to have made many friends, both co-workers and customers.
